Giving Back to the Community

Our corporate partners demonstrate a commitment to civic leadership and community pride through general support and artistic and program sponsorships. The generosity of Washington, DC’s corporate community ensures that Studio remains a fixture of the city’s world-class cultural landscape. With every opportunity, corporate partners are recognized through exposure, exclusivity, entertainment, and engagement while supporting outstanding theatre experiences for DC’s diverse audiences.

Ways to Get Involved

Corporate sponsors partner with Studio Theatre to help promote vibrancy, vitality, and cultural discourse within our community by lending their support to:

General Operating

General gifts to Studio’s annual fund help support free or deeply discounted tickets, partnerships with cultural and social service institutions, post-show discussions and other public events, as well as accessible performances to support and welcome audiences of different needs.

Annual Productions

Every year, Studio produces a season of mainstage productions, reaching over 65,000 people. The repertoire includes new and contemporary writing, as well as particularly intimate or immersive staging.

Commissioning and New Works

Since 2011, Studio has commissioned 20 artists and premiered 14 new plays. In 2019, we launched Work in Process, a public reading series of plays currently under commission.
