The Studio Theatre, in the heart of the revitalized 14th Street Corridor, is Washington's premier small theatre with an unparalleled reputation for superb quality and cutting edge theatre. This 30 year old institution is at the top of its game, and the internal staff is a class act.
Studio is seeking a Business Manager to keep its Business department running smoothly and evolving to keep up with the theatre and best business practices.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Administering the day to day business functions(A/P, A/R, payroll and taxes), internal controls, and cash flow; Responsible for all Financial reporting both internally and externally; Monitoring the annual budget; Reconciling monthly department budgets; supervise annual audit; Investment fund management; Liaison with finance committee of the Board of Trustees. Assist in HR matters including but not limited to leave, healthcare and 401(K) programs. Supervise 1 – 2 direct reports.
Will report to the Managing Director.

Qualifications needed:
Accounting background/education required.
Accounting software experience needed..
Attention to details a must.
Ability to manage multiple projects important.
Management experience a plus.
Arts or non-profit background preferred.
2 Year Commitment required.
